The library cannot guarantee that any material donated to the library will be added to the collection, and items that cannot be added to the collection may be sold. The library accepts donations of new and very good condition used books for our book sales and collection. For large donations please contact us at email protected. What if I have a lot of books We’ll take ‘em. For books, we prefer popular fiction and nonfiction in hardcover, mass market and trade. Only English and French books, CDs and DVDs will be accepted. Donated items must meet the following criteria: Material must be in very good condition and less than five years old. Donate books & items for sale or collection Any books we can’t sell are either donated directly to one of our non-profit partners or recycled. What you need to know: Branches only accept material that can be resold. Please do not put donations into the book drops or leave donations on library property at any other time. If you plan to donate more than 5 boxes of items, please call us before coming. Please have all items pre-boxed or bagged in non-returnable containers. We cannot accept donations outside of those hours. Sponsorships, Advertising and Other Donations When we receive an In Memoriam donation, we will work with the donor and the next of kin to establish a meaningful tribute.
